Previous acute care experience in medical, surgical or pediatric nursing required.

Responsible for demonstration of special procedures including but not limited to arterial lines, mechanical ventilators,

swan ganz monitoring, administration of thrombolytics, and pacemakers.

Demonstrates knowledge of rhythm interpretation to assess the cardiac needs of the patient. Proficient in the use of ACLS algorithims.

Basic Life Support certification is mandatory within six months of employment.
